Secure Futures has been formed as a UK-based company to catalyse innovation and investment, focused on key national security challenges such as:

• gathering and exploiting intelligence and pursuing terrorists
• protecting crowded places and critical national infrastructure
• enabling effective responses to major incidents

Secure Futures seeks to work closely with innovators, investors, industry and government, in activating innovation and helping participants to connect with one another, to bring promising technologies and techniques into use.

Over time, Secure Futures intends to build a 'community of interest', connecting those generating the ideas with those who can fund them and those who seek to exploit them. We aim to drive alignment between those innovating and investing for capital gain and the national and public interest. Everyone should benefit from greater awareness of each other's opportunities, activities and intentions.

To achieve this, our near term focus is to act as:

• a dynamic hub for new technologies & thinking aimed at countering terrorism
• a magnet for innovators seeking investment, for investors seeking opportunities, for industry seeking product and for government and its partners seeking solutions
